    TGS Baltic advised Paul-Tech in attracting an investment of 1.4 million from leading Estonian venture capital investors

    TGS Baltic advised the client throughout the entire transaction, from the negotiation and preparation of Estonian transaction documents to the completion of the transaction. The investment round was led by the Estonian venture capital fund Superangel, in which SmartCap, Honey Badger Capital, Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN), Tatoli AS, Overkill VC and business angels from Sweden participated.

    In cooperation with a non-governmental organization Imants Ziedonis Foundation "Viegli", TGS Baltic assists the Museum Foundation of Imants Ziedonis (the Museum) on the Intellectual Property rights questions and ethical aspects of the use of an artificial intelligence computer program that synthesizes the imitation of the voice of the publicly known person – famous Latvian writer and poet Imants Ziedonis (1933–2013).

    On 11 April 2023, the foundation Muuseumikaart began operating, providing culture enthusiasts with a simpler way to visit various museums located in Estonia. Purchasers of the innovative Museum Card can visit over 100 museums and 500 exhibitions an unlimited number of times within a year.

    TGS Baltic team is continuously and extensively assisting AS TV Play Baltics (the biggest satellite TV service provider in the Baltic States) in interactions with regulatory authorities (mostly the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission). The matters include discussions with the authorities on the nature of cross-border satellite TV services and regulation based on the EU legal framework.

    TGS Baltic assists Bitė Lietuva in a dispute initiated by a virtual mobile network operator regarding allegedly incorrect application of the EU roaming legislation and calculation of roaming tariffs. The claimant alleges that it overpaid the roaming charges in the amount of approx. EUR 0.4 million.

    TGS Baltic assisted MTG in launching innovative and modern video-on-demand service Viaplay. The launch was simultaneous in all the three Baltic States, a lot of coordination and team work was required in order to successfully meet the launch date and address all regulatory issues. It was the first of such type, subscription-based service in Lithuania, therefore a lot of issues had to be handled with regulatory authorities.
