Advising Creandum on making an investment into Klaus

16.07.2019 Advising Creandum on making an investment into Klaus

TGS Baltic advised Creandum, the leading European early-stage venture capital firm, on making an investment into the Tallinn-based startup Klaus (formerly Qualitista), a customer support platform.

It is Creandum’s first deal as a lead investor in the Baltics, having previously backed companies such as Spotify, iZettle, and Neo Technologies. Klaus raised funds from Creandum, with participation from Icebreaker and several angels, including founders of Pipedrive.

Our team, consisting of partner Kadri Kallas and junior counsel Mirko Kikkamägi, assisted Creandum in the due diligence phase, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, as well as closing the transaction.

Creandum is a leading european early-stage venture capital firm investing in innovative and fast-growing technology companies.

Klaus, founded in 2018, is an Estonian company that produces a conversation review and quality assurance platform for customer service teams. This makes it easy and systematic to provide internal feedback and thus increases the quality of customer support. Among the clients are Soundcloud, Trivago, Wistia, and Figma to name a few. To date, over 200,000 conversations have been analyzed on the platform.
