The firm has assisted the client on more than 20 public procurement procedures related to the LNG terminal project. This includes highly complex tenders for the lease of a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU), valued at 525 million euros, the acquisition of lead advisor services, valued at 9 million euros, and Engineering, Construction and Procurement contracts on construction of port and gas system infrastructure, valued in excess of 27 million euros each.
Klaipedos Nafta is a state-owned company which manages one of Europe's most modern oil terminals. Its core activities are to tranship exported oil products from rail tank-cars into tankers and to provide Lithuania with imported crude oil and oil products shipped to the Klaipеda port by tanker. Klaipedos Nafta is implementing the LNG terminal project, which is intended to ensure Lithuania's security of natural gas supply and diversification of supply sources. The project is supported by the Government of Lithuania and is formally designated as having major economic significance to the state.
