TGS Baltic advised Paul-Tech in attracting an investment of 1.4 million from leading Estonian venture capital investors

12.10.2023 TGS Baltic advised Paul-Tech in attracting an investment of 1.4 million from leading Estonian venture capital investors

TGS Baltic advised the client throughout the entire transaction, from the negotiation and preparation of Estonian transaction documents to the completion of the transaction. The investment round was led by the Estonian venture capital fund Superangel, in which SmartCap, Honey Badger Capital, Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN), Tatoli AS, Overkill VC and business angels from Sweden participated.

Paul-Tech's vision is that with their soil plant, farmers find the optimal balance between agronomic, environmental and economic aspects for sustainable management. They offer a solution in which, in addition to monitoring the seedling, producers are also given an overview of the processes taking place in the soil in real time, as a result of which agricultural practices that are more sustainable for the soil and the environment can be used and limited resources can be optimally distributed.

The investment raised, will be used to expand into the UK market and develop the product offering. The investment will allow the company to continue developing its technology and offer accurate and reliable solutions to farmers across Europe.

The TGS Baltic team was led by Mirko Kikkamägi and also included Kadri Kallas, Mari-Liis Orav, Silvia Urgas, Helena Kuuse and Stina-Maria Lusti.
