The Museum, in cooperation with Tilde SIA, using an artificial intelligence computer program with a voice generation function and voice recordings of Latvian writer Imants Ziedonis created a voice synthesis computer program that can synthesize or create an imitation of Imants Ziedonis' voice. Imants Ziedonis was one of the most prominent and treasured Latvian writers of the second half of the 20th century, a publicist, screenwriter, and dedicated cultural and social worker. He was well-known in society for his contribution to Latvian literature and his unconventional and forceful personality. His literary works have further inspired music, theatre, and animation work. His creative work, lifestyle, and ideas are still far-reaching throughout contemporary Latvian society. Imants Ziedonis Foundation "Viegli" was established in 2010 to implement the mission of the Foundation's patron, the poet Imants Ziedonis: "Latvia is a land of wonderful beauty, but the beauty must be helped to reveal itself ." The foundation aims to support and promote creativity in Latvia. To achieve this, the foundation's mission is to promote the realization of Imants Ziedonis' ideas and the continuation of his values, to develop and support creative, unusual ideas, and public projects that reveal the beauty of Latvia.
