Ignitis and Baltisches Haus have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to completely overhaul electric vehicles (EV) charging infrastructure in Baltisches Haus real property portfolio.

Ignitis, the smart energy solutions company that operates Ignitis ON, the largest fast-charging network for electric vehicles in Lithuania, and Baltisches Haus, a company that develops and manages commercial real estate throughout Lithuania, have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to provide at least 110 public charging points for electric vehicles in 15 cities across Lithuania. This is good news for electric vehicle drivers in the capital and other major cities, as the charging points will be located near shopping centres and other commercial areas in cities and towns where they are particularly welcome.

Ignitis is consistently working towards its strategic goal of significantly expanding the electric vehicle charging network across Lithuania and the other Baltic States. Therefore, the strategic partnership agreement with Baltisches Haus is a strong breakthrough for their business and a significant convenience for electric vehicle drivers, not only from Vilnius or Kaunas, as charging points will be installed in places they sorely lack today.

Public charging points will be located near supermarkets, mainly Iki, and other commercial buildings not only in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda, but also in Kretinga, Plungė, Mažeikiai, Šiauliai, Varėna, Alytus, Marijampolė, Vilkaviškis, Jurbarkas, Kėdainiai, Panevėžys, and Biržai.
