A group of investors led by the German entrepreneurs Jochen Berger and Thomas Strohe, who have extensive experience in the web hosting business, is investing in the Lithuanian-built Hostinger. They have acquired 31% of Hostinger’s shares from long-time employees and have become members of the company’s board. Bringing in the new investors is a strategic step by the company as it accelerates its global growth.
During the transaction, the investors and Hostinger’s shareholders made it possible for employees of the company to exercise options they held. We are pleased that the option plan created with our assistance has been successfully implemented.
TGS Baltic partners Agnius Pilipavičius, Aurimas Pauliukevičius, executive partner Marius Matonis, senior associate Indrė Vickaitė-Liatukė, associates Julija Skardžiūtė, Rimantė Butkutė, junior associate Elvinas Kižys, and legal assistant Evelina Vaišvilaitė advised the client on all legal issues related to the investment.
