Now, Alytaus Šilumos Tinklai and the Alytus City Municipality seek to receive €22.6 million compensation from the former heat supply company in Alytus city – UAB Litesko, which belongs to the French concern Veolia.
Alytaus Šilumos Tinklai and the Alytus City Municipality demand compensation for unjust enrichment from the heat and electricity assets, their depreciation and ask to compensate for losses identified in relation to other misconduct of UAB Litesko. Before returning the heat and electricity infrastructure to Alytaus Šilumos Tinklai in 2019, UAB Litesko used the heat and electricity infrastructure for three years longer than it had been agreed under the Lease Agreement. These circumstances have given rise to disputes between the parties and, subsequently, the Vilnius Regional Court accepted the claim.
TGS Baltic Managing Partner Vilius Bernatonis, Senior Associates Augustinas Razumas, Matas Balėnas and Associate Patricija Rukštelytė – are working on the case.
