    TGS Baltic attorneys successfully represented the subsidiaries of Port of Tallinn

    The Supreme Court has decided to dismiss the appeal in cassation of the bankruptcy administrators of Saaremaa Laevakompanii (SLK) and Väinamere Liinid. With this, the judgment of Harju County Court of 31 March 2023, which dismissed SLK’s and Väinamere Liinid’s statement of claim against the subsidiaries of Port of Tallinn, entered into force.

    TGS Baltic advised joint global coordinators BNP Paribas, Citi, and J.P. Morgan, joint bookrunners Morgan Stanley and SEB, and co-managers LHV and Signet Bank on the issue by the Latvian national airline airBaltic of 340 million 5.25-year secured euro bonds to be listed on Euronext Dublin stock exchange. This is the largest corporate bond issue originating from Latvia.

    Ignitis and Baltisches Haus have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to completely overhaul electric vehicles (EV) charging infrastructure in Baltisches Haus real property portfolio.

    TGS Baltic senior associates Martti Peetsalu and Maris Vutt represented Jetoil AS in court.

    The dispute revolved around the performance of fuel quality control and the courts agreed that the fuel supplied by Jetoil met the quality requirements.

    The court case demonstrates that the validity of special agreements between parties largely depends on the area of activity in which they operate. In the transport sector, it is permissible for parties to agree on shorter notice periods for raising claims to ensure the normal functioning of the sector.

    Court dismissed the claim of Saaremaa Laevakompanii and Väinamere Liinid against Port of Tallinn subsidiaries

    On 31 March 2023, Harju County Court dismissed the claim submitted by the bankruptcy administrator of AS Saaremaa Laevakompanii (SLK) (bankrupt) and Väinamere Liinid OÜ against the subsidiaries of Port of Tallinn.

    TGS Baltic assists with constructing a new Audi centre at Ulmaņa 115, Riga. Due to the difficult external conditions, the previous contractor could not overcome, the project had to search for a new contractor and replace the previous one.
