Chirag Mody specialises in dispute resolution with a focus on civil and administrative court proceedings, bankruptcy law, cross-border disputes and arbitration. Chirag has extensive experience in advising clients in the resolution of various contractual, construction, planning, bankruptcy, trademark, insurance, energy, libel and public procurement proceedings. He has represented clients in major national and cross-border arbitration disputes. Over the years, Chirag has also advised in projects related to the electricity and natural gas fields.
Chirag has been teaching civil procedure, law of obligations, contract law and legal argumentation at the University of Tartu for many years. Chirag won first place at the Estonian Law Moot Court Competition; successfully participated in the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition, where he came in third; and has been a member of the University of Tartu team in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition.
