Kärt Raud is a member of the corporate and contract law assisting clients in drafting various agreements as well as advising on M&A transactions. She also deals with data protection, intellectual property rights and IT-law.
Kärt has experience in advising clients in all stages of M&A transactions from conducting of the legal audit to the implementation of post-transaction changes. In addition to drafting transaction documentation, she has also advised the clients on drafting shareholder contracts and daily corporate documents.
Kärt also advises clients on contracting and reviewing business-related contracts, focusing on licensing agreements. In 2017, Kärt participated in the Summer School of the University of Bucerius in Hamburg, Germany, where the focus was on negotiating and drafting international licensing agreements.
In addition, Kärt has dealt extensively with the field of personal data, having carried out a number of data protection compliance audits and advised clients on the preparation of new regulatory documentation and on daily matters.
Since 2016, Kärt is the supervisor of contract law seminars in the University of Tartu.
