    Māra co-heads the EU and Competition practice group and has been involved in most of the firm’s M&A, Regulatory, Public Procurement, and EU and Competition transactions in Latvia. She has over 10 years of experience in providing legal services. Before joining TGS Baltic Māra gained extensive experience in the Latvian Public Procurement Office.

      TGS Baltic advised INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund in the acquisition of Galinta Group

      INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund, the leading private equity fund in the Baltics, today announced the signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Galinta Group. Galinta Group is one of the largest producers of buckwheat in Europe and one of the leading producers and traders of flakes, rice, and other groats in the Baltic region.

      TGS Baltic advised Akropolis Group, the leading company for the development and management of shopping and entertainment centres in the Baltic States, which acquired one of the largest shopping centres in Riga, Latvia – ALFA, with the total area of 154,000 sq. m.

      The fund registered in Poland MCI.PrivateVentures Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamknięty with sub-fund MCI.TechVentures 1.0 was assisted by TGS Baltic team with obtaining of merger permit of the Latvian Competition Council to acquire sole control over company Morele.net Sp. z o.o.

      TGS Baltic assisted AS Augstsprieguma tīkls with obtaining of the merger clearance by the Latvian Competition Council for potential acquisition of a decisive influence over AS Conexus Baltic Grid

      According to the merger notification received by the Latvian Competition Council, since 1 January 2018, AS Augstsprieguma tīkls owns the majority of votes in the decision-making bodies of AS Conexus Baltic Grid.

      Assisting IK Investment Partners in the acquisition of Katsastus Group’s operations

      IK Investment Partners acquired the shares of vehicle inspection companies A-Ülevaatus OÜ in Estonia, SIA Scantest in Latvia, A-Katsastus AB in Sweden and Autotest Polska Sp. Z o.o. in Poland (“the Group”) from A-Katsastus Group Oy, one of the leading European companies providing vehicle inspection, trade-in inspection and registration services.
