Mari Anne specialises mainly in dispute resolution, employment law and personal data protection law. She also supports firm’s regulatory and competition practice in the fields of consumer protection, European Union law and competition law.
She has advised several international companies regarding different HR-related issues, including in the matters of protection of business secrets. She has also advised clients in applying for payment institution activity license and investment fund activity license and assisted clients with the drafting of necessary documents and communication with public authorities.
Mari Anne has also substantial experience in IT-law having advised clients in the fields of e-commerce, online contracting and in other regulatory matters. Mary Anne acquired her master’s degree from the University of Tartu and her thesis concentrated on the trilateral contractual relationships in the digital age regarding services rendered though online platforms.
