    Merli Mäesalu has notable experience and a wide knowledge base in advising clients on constitutional and administrative law. She specialises in dispute resolution and represents clients in court. Her main focus is planning, construction and environmental law, but she is also fluent in matters pertaining to the ownership reform, state liability and public service disputes. She has represented both state institutions and private companies in European Union aid proceedings and court disputes. Merli Mäesalu also advises state and local government agencies on drafting and contesting administrative acts.

    In addition, she has advised companies in various registration and activity licence proceedings. She has also represented clients in disputes with the Consumer Protection Board, the Food and Veterinary Office, the Environmental Board and country governments.

    She has outstanding practical knowledge in administrative law thanks to her previous work experience in Tallinn Administrative Court. She represents clients in challenge procedures and disputing the activities and resolutions of administrative authorities. Merli Mäesalu has also conducted academic research in the field of litigation.

      Varahalduse Kinnisvarainvesteering 004 OÜ, which belongs to LHV Varahaldus AS, entered into a contract with OÜ Sõpruse 157 to acquire the registered immovable located at Sõpruse pst 157. The owner of Varahalduse Kinnisvarainvesteering 004 OÜ is LHV Group, which is listed on the Tallinn Stock Exchange, through LHV Varahaldus.

The enterprise owns logistics centres with approximately 59,000 m² space for rent and a registered immovable with a detailed plan in Rae Rural Municipality in Harju County, the main lessee of which is Smarten Logistics. The firm’s assignment was to investigate procurements, a legal dispute and transactions from administrative and civil law point of view and to determine possible infringements and deviations, risks for further legal disputes and to give recommendations for necessary actions and proceedings.
