Central and Eastern Europe’s legal publication, CEE Legal Matters, has recently announced the winner of the award Deal of the Year for Lithuania - the most significant project of 2020 in our country was Ignitis Grupe‘s initial public offering (IPO), to which TGS Baltic has also contributed.

Last year, we advised The Bank of New York Mellon on implementing  Ignitis grupė’s IPO of shares and global depositary receipts representing the shares (GDR), including admitting to trading in GDR on the London Stock Exchange. Following the implementation of the IPO, the company attracted EUR  450 million in total. This is the largest IPO in the Baltic States throughout history. More about the project

“The judges who chose Ignitis Grupe IPO, as the winner for Lithuania were tremendously impressed by its domestic and regional significance, its size, and its complexity. Our heart-felt congratulations go out to TGS Baltic. Well done!”, - says CEE Legal Matters Executive Editor David Stuckey.

The legal advisors of the client were TGS Baltic partners Vidmantas Drizga, Robertas Degesys, associate partner Mantas Gofmanas, tax consultant Loreta Antanaitienė, senior associates Tadas Varapnickas and Karolina Lapinskaitė.
