The conference focused on the energy strategy and its implementation in Lithuania. The participants discussed about global energy trends and their impact on the energy independence of the Baltic States, considered recent financing instruments, investment risk management, and new business opportunities in the energy sector resulting from the implementation of strategic energy projects.
Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Energy, representatives from government institutions of the Baltic States and the European Commission, politicians, managers and experts of energy companies, independent energy analysts, and representatives of international energy organisations made presentations and attended the Conference panel discussions. The event has gathered more than three hundred distinguished leaders from the Lithuanian energy sector and senior representatives from the Baltic States, Poland and Estonia and other countries.
Vilius Bernatonis, Partner and Head of the Energy practice group of TGS Baltic, moderated three parallel sessions and made conclusive remarks at the Conference.
