This is evident from the M&A market review published by the business daily Verslo žinios in cooperation with the Association of Financial Analysts.
Information collected by Verslo žinios and the Association of Financial Analysts shows that last year the number of M&A transactions worth over EUR 100,000 was 69 in Lithuania, which is 38% less than in 2014, when 112 transactions were conducted. Law firm TGS Baltic advised clients in 14 transactions and was the second law firm in Lithuania according to the number of transactions.
In making the review of the Lithuanian M&A market, account was taken of the fact whether the buyer, the seller and/or the transaction target was a Lithuanian natural person or legal entity. The value of considered transactions was no less than EUR 100,000.
The review did not cover transactions conducted outside Lithuania or involving advice to foreign clients.
