We are pleased to have assisted Klaipėdos nafta, the operator of Klaipėda’s Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal and one of the largest companies of energy resources logistics in the Baltic States, during the second stage of LNG long-term import solution project, which will end with a purchase of a Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU).

Last week, the European Commission cleared state aid for the second stage of LNG long-term import solution - state guarantee for acquisition of the FSRU. It is planned that the FSRU will operate in Klaipėda’s LNG Terminal beyond 2024. 

This bold strategic move brings legal certainty and paves way for further steps of the acquisition process.
