TGS Baltic's competition team “handles major domestic and international mandates and receives rave revues.” 

We are passionate about what we do. We see competition law as an enabler rather than a restraint and do our best to make the law work in our clients’ favour.

We have represented clients before national competition and regulatory authorities and at national courts as well as at the European Commission and EU courts. Our team is very active in promoting compliance with competition rules and spreading knowledge about competition law – we conduct training on competition law and customer relations and also prepare compliance guidelines and do audits.

Our diverse client portfolio includes manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and others, from regulatory sectors including electronic communications, energy, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, food, consumer goods, and others.

    TGS Baltic continuously and extensively assists TV Play Baltics in interactions with regulators

    TGS Baltic team is continuously and extensively assisting AS TV Play Baltics (the biggest satellite TV service provider in the Baltic States) in interactions with regulatory authorities (mostly the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission). The matters include discussions with the authorities on the nature of cross-border satellite TV services and regulation based on the EU legal framework.

    TGS Baltic advised Hotsplots GmbH

    During the last year TGS became a trusted advisor to Hotsplots GmbH, Germany-based provider of professional Wi-Fi solutions for customers in the whole Europe. Hotsplots seeks to expand their activities in the Baltic region, so they relied on TGS regulatory and data protection advice. TGS was also contracted to provide semi-annual updates on regulatory developments in the electronic communications sector.

    TGS Baltic assists Bitė Lietuva

    TGS Baltic assists Bitė Lietuva in a dispute initiated by a virtual mobile network operator regarding allegedly incorrect application of the EU roaming legislation and calculation of roaming tariffs. The claimant alleges that it overpaid the roaming charges in the amount of approx. EUR 0.4 million.

    TGS Baltic advises UAB Vilniaus kogeneracinė jėgainė – a member of Lietuvos energija, UAB group of companies, in the state aid case initiated in the General Court of the European Union where the decision of the European Commission to approve state aid for construction of the cogeneration plant in Vilnius is being disputed.
