    Supreme Court rules that the detention of former political leader Ain Seppik was unlawful

    In a ruling published on 9 June, the Supreme Court found that the detention of former political leader Ain Seppik on 4 January last year on suspicion of a crime and the use of handcuffs at the time were unlawful.
    The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court emphasised that, according to the Constitution, everyone has the right to liberty and security of person.

    TGS Baltic team is continuously and extensively assisting AS TV Play Baltics (the biggest satellite TV service provider in the Baltic States) in interactions with regulatory authorities (mostly the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission). The matters include discussions with the authorities on the nature of cross-border satellite TV services and regulation based on the EU legal framework.

    TGS Baltic assists Bitė Lietuva

    TGS Baltic assists Bitė Lietuva in a dispute initiated by a virtual mobile network operator regarding allegedly incorrect application of the EU roaming legislation and calculation of roaming tariffs. The claimant alleges that it overpaid the roaming charges in the amount of approx. EUR 0.4 million.

    TGS Baltic provided advice to AB Lietuvos geležinkeliai

    TGS Baltic provided advice to AB Lietuvos geležinkeliai, a dominant railways operator in Lithuania, in an antitrust investigation led by the European Commission. The Commission suspected that the client abused its dominant position and limited competition on the rail markets in Lithuania and Latvia by removing a railway track connecting the two countries.
