TGS Baltic supports annual Kārlis Dišlers Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition, providing the possibility to law students to put their theoretical knowledge in practice.

Kārlis Dišlers Moot Court Competition is the richest in traditions Moot Court Competition in Latvia, and it took place already for the 17th time. The students’ task in the particular Moot Court Competition was to play the role of practising lawyers disputing or defending compatibility of the regulatory enactments with the Constitution.

Participation in the Moot Court Competition allows improving the skills of prospective and young lawyers in analysing, arguing and bringing forward reasoned arguments, when competing with other participants of the Moot Court Competition.

The students’ performance was evaluated also by Kalvis Krūmiņš, Associate at TGS Baltic. The aforementioned and other Moot Court Competitions in Latvia are traditionally organized by the association of law students ELSA Latvia.
