TGS Baltic advised UAB EUGESTA, one of the largest international distribution companies in the Baltic States, on the acquisition of a majority interest in UAB Armavista. TGS Baltic Executive Partner Marius Matonis, Associate Giedrius Svidras, Junior Associate Julija Skardžiūtė and Trainee Paulius Dabulskis advised the client on all transaction-related matters, including performing legal due diligence, drafting share purchase and shareholders’ agreements, representing the client in obtaining a permission from the Competition Council of the Republic of Lithuania to implement the transaction.

UAB EUGESTA is a leading international distribution company in the Baltic States, engaged in provision of road freight transport, transport logistics services, distribution of consumer goods, wholesale trade of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages. In 2017, the company generated EUR 88.417 million income. 94.7% of shares in UAB EUGESTA is managed by KS investicija controlled by Kęstutis Stabingis, which also owns the restaurant chain Fortas.

UAB Armavista provides freight forwarding, road freight transport, reloading, warehousing and other terminal services.
