Advising Estonian electricity transmission system operator Elering in state aid issues related to payment of renewable energy support based on Estonian Energy Market Act, which implements the European Commission’s decision SA.47354 approving the Estonian RES and CHP schemes.
Advising and representing Ermitažas, belonging to Vilniaus Prekyba Group – one of the largest trade companies in Baltic States, Central and Eastern Europe region, in the Estonian merger control proceedings in relation to the acquisition of Bauhof and in all competition law aspects of the transaction.
Advising Euroapteek, part of the Nordic and Central and Eastern Europe’s leading pharmacy group Euroapotheca, on competition and regulatory issues related to the acquisition of Ülikooli Apteek pharmacy chain in Estonia and representing in the merger control proceedings in the Estonian Competition Authority.
Representing Estonian Pharmacies Association in state aid complaint proceedings in the European Commission against the Republic of Finland in relation to alleged illegal state aid granted to Finnish pharmacy chain Yliopiston Apteekki and in appeal proceedings in the General Court.
Performing in-depth legal analysis for the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications regarding the compatibility to the EU state aid rules of the structural funds financing agreements with KredEx and KredEx Krediidikindlustus and of the loans, securities and export credit provided under these agreements.
Advising the leading Estonian postal services provider Omniva (Eesti Post) in a broad range of competition law and state aid issues including competition law trainings and audit, advising regarding the pricing and other daily questions related to competition law and postal sector regulation, representing in the Estonian Competition Authority.
Advising Starman on merger control issues in relation to the sale of Starman to Elisa, which was one of the biggest M&A deals in the Baltics in 2016.
