TGS Baltic's M&A team led by partner Kadri Kallas advised Royal Vopak N.V and Global Ports Investments PLC in selling the shares of Vopak E.O.S., the largest independent oil terminal operator in the Baltics, to Abu Dhabi based Liwathon. The new name of the logistics company will be Liwathon E.O.S.

Gert Tiivas, CEO of Liwathon, said that with experienced management team, Liwathon's strategy for the development of a network of terminals serving the liquid fuel market will be implemented, and the company's expertise and terminal infrastructure provide a solid foundation for further development of Liwathon E.O.S.

He noted that Vopak is one of the best companies in Estonia and also a significant player in its field on a global scale. Vopak E.O.S has been the most successful company in Estonia four times.
Tiivas also noted that Estonia is still in a good strategic location, here are still very good ports, very good terminals, know-how and people.

The headquarters of the logistics and investment company Liwathon, owned by UK investor Barclay Rowland, is located in the international Abu Dhabi Global Market.

Liwathon E.O.S. is the largest independent oil products terminal operator in the Baltic region, operating four terminals – Termoil, Trendgate, Pakterminal and Stivterminal - with a total storage capacity of 1,051,800 cbm. Liwathon E.O.S. terminals, which are directly connected to the international railway infrastructure, are located in the port of Muuga, Estonia, within the Port of Tallinn.
